Bristol Course 2019-2020

The Youth Cinema Foundation is a unique year-long masterclass. We currently have thirty students in Bristol on our year long course. The course involves one evening a week (during term-time) dedicated to learning to act for the screen with one of the UK’s leading acting teachers. You need to be aged between 15 - 29 years old to apply. Beginning in September 2019, students study professional performance techniques with an award-winning film director and teacher, they build up to the creation of cinema work, to showcase their acting talent, on the big screen. The work studied is based on the techniques of
Sanford Meisner and incorporates learning to perform with digital cinema cameras and sound equipment. This course produces extraordinary results and can be life changing for participants. We believe this is one of the best and most unique acting courses in the world.
Places are very limited and require an informal interview with Jack Price.
